Noisy woman evicted after 88 days
A rowdy council tenant has been evicted from her home in Nottinghamshire just 88 days after moving in.

Neighbours of Sharon Dennington in West Tichford, Mansfield, complained about her after fights, loud music and visitors urinating in the street.

The 28-year-old was given an eviction order after officials compiled a catalogue of evidence including a residents' diary.

Ms Dennington was unavailable for comment as she packed at the house.

I really feel sorry for the decent residents of Lord Street for what they have had to endure
Andre Camilleri, councillor

Mansfield District Council said it was one of the shortest tenancies on record.

One neighbour who asked not be named, said: "Good riddance - we've had nothing but trouble from the start."

The arrival of Ms Dennington at the house in August, marked with a drunken party which continued until 0430 GMT was just the start for residents in the usually quiet street.

Within days she exposed her breasts to her neighbours as they found themselves witnessing fights and people urinating in the street.

She is also alleged to have played music so loud objects in neighbouring properties would shake.

A diary of the complaints was presented to magistrates at Mansfield County Court earlier in November.

Abusive language

Two weeks ago she was also allegedly seen fighting a man outside her house, dressed only in her underwear.

Evidence from environmental health officers, who had installed noise monitoring equipment at nearby homes was also submitted.

Ms Dennington was given seven days to leave the property and handed an anti-social behaviour injunction preventing her from harassing her former neighbours, playing loud music and using foul and abusive language.

Councillor Andre Camilleri said: "I really feel sorry for the decent residents of Lord Street for what they have had to endure but am glad that we have been able to take action so quickly.

"Although 88 days may have seemed like a lifetime to the victims, to gather sufficient evidence, put a case together, get it to court and secure the orders in that time is a remarkable achievement by our anti-social behaviour team, housing and environmental health officers."
