The University of Nottingham's Malaysia campus is to be formally opened by the country's Prime Minister at a ceremony on Monday. The launch of the site, close to Semenyih, 30 kilometres south of Kuala Lumpur, follows the launch of a campus in China earlier this month.
The ceremony will be performed by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi.
Heads from the University of Nottingham will also be at the event.
Vice-Chancellor Sir Colin Campbell said: "The move to the new campus is a significant milestone for The University of Nottingham."
