Warning over poor flu jab uptake
Health experts say thousands of patients in part of Nottinghamshire have not had their free flu jabs.

So far, only 16,000 of the 28,000 people eligible have been vaccinated in the Mansfield and Ashfield areas.

The government has set an uptake target of 70% which GP practices have to reach by the end of the year.

The area's primary care trusts are urging patients aged 65 and over and those with a chronic illness to have the free vaccination.
