Police warn of thefts on buses
Nottinghamshire Police are warning bus passengers to be on their guard following a number of thefts on city buses.

Officers say elderly people are being targeted by handbag thieves.

Police think that one man, who uses a large coat to conceal his actions, may be responsible for a series of thefts on buses.

The suspect is described as 40-years- old, of mixed race, 6ft tall, and of medium build.

Police say they are concerned people will be carrying more money than usual in the run-up to Christmas.

They say quite a few bus passengers have been targeted in the past few weeks.
