Fitness prescription scheme grows
A Nottinghamshire scheme to encourage patients to exercise has proved so successful it is to expand.

Positive Moves has helped more than 300 people in Gedling with conditions such as depression, obesity or injuries.

It works by offering patients in the borough gym sessions, usually over a 12 week period.

Previously only family doctors were allowed to refer their patients but now other health workers will be able to make referrals.
