Pensioners have taken to the streets to protest at an increase in their council tax. They lobbied a meeting of Nottingham city council on Monday.
They are angry at having to pay almost 10 per cent extra this year - one of highest increases in the country.
Ray Tomlinson, from the Pensioners' Action Group, said they want to let politicians know pensioners are getting "absolutely sick and tired" of the way they are being treated.
The group went on to meet the leader of the city council.
