Estate crackdown sees 20 arrests
More than 20 people have been caught in the latest moves against anti-social behaviour on Nottingham's estates.

The latest operation was centred on Bulwell where police joined council officials and education welfare officers and magistrates court staff.

Five arrests were made for burglary, assault, public order offences and failing to appear in court.

But a further 12 motorists were found driving without insurance and nine school truants were also discovered.

Court officials say they also collected a number of outstanding fines, which would have resulted in arrest had they not been paid.
