Bogus data scam targets companies
Nottinghamshire trading standards officers are warning businesses about a data protection scam.

Bogus letters are delivered, telling companies they are breaking the law if they do not pay the so-called Data Protection Agency.

Thousands of letters have been sent demanding the return of personal information along with a fee of more than 100.

But trading standards officers say companies should ignore demands.
