Detectives are continuing to question a 31-year-old man after another man was found stabbed to death in a bungalow in Nottingham. Nico Meli, 35, suffered a stab wound to the stomach and was found dead at the council home he shared with his mother Joan, 74, in Rodwell Close, Beechdale.
The elderly woman discovered the body at about 0745 BST on Monday.
Police arrested a Nottingham man shortly after.
Forensic examinations have been carried out at the bungalow and two footpaths which run close to the property have been sealed off.
