An investigation has started into a suspicious fire at a Nottingham school at the weekend. Firefighters were called to William Sharpe Comprehensive School in Bilborough just before 1900 BST on Sunday.
The fire damaged the school's first floor staff room and investigators think the fire was started deliberately.
Other parts of the building were damaged by smoke and water.
A Nottingham education spokesman said the school will be closed to all pupils on Monday.
Fire investigators are inspecting the fire scene to establish the exact cause of the fire.
