Website fights teenage re-offending
Police question youngsters
The site will feature ex-offender's experiences

A website is being launched to stop young people falling into a life of crime.

It is costing over a million pounds and has the backing of ex-offenders.

The Nottingham based Rizer site is aimed directly at young people.

It explains what happens during the legal process using graffiti, animations and music.

'Put off'

Advisors are on hand who can be emailed anonymously day or night.

'Chip' an ex-young offender from Mansfield helped to develop the site.

"Once somebody has seen it, when they see what people have been through and what has happened to them I'm not saying it will scare them but it will put them off."

The Government funded website has been developed by the Galleries of Justice in Nottingham to explain the legal process to youngsters.
