Lead stolen from town's buildings
Lead has been stolen from buildings across a Northamptonshire town.

A building site was broken into in Perkins Court, Wellingborough, overnight on Tuesday/Wednesday and a large quantity of lead removed.

Thieves targeted two schools, Hardwick Infant and Hardwick Junior, in Queensway, between 10 and 19 September, and took lead flashing from the roofs.

Northants police, who are not linking the thefts, have urged any witnesses to contact them.
