Police close drug concern flats
Police have used new legislation to close two flats in Northampton because of drug abuse and prostitution.

The flats in Cordwainer House and Dover Court, St James, are being boarded up by police after a hearing before Northampton Magistrates on Wednesday.

Police applied for the orders to seal up the flats after complaints from local people about prostitution and drug dealing.

The Anti-Social Behaviour Act (ASBA) order will last for three months.
