Four York City football players have appeared in court charged with affray after a disturbance in the city centre last year.

Michael Rankine, 24, Craig Nelthorpe, 22, Michael Ingham, 29 and Michael Gash, 22, appeared before city magistrates.

Their case was committed to York Crown Court for 19 February.
