One motorcyclist has died and another was critically injured in separate road accidents in North Yorkshire. A Honda rider was pronounced dead at the scene after he collided with a Jaguar car on the Otley to Fewston road near Harrogate on Saturday afternoon.
On Saturday evening, a Suzuki collided with a Vauxhall Corsa at the Cowtons crossroads on the B1263 Scorton to Dalton Gates road near Catterick.
The motorcyclist is critical in Northallerton's Friarage hospital.
Both occupants of the Vauxhall Corsa were treated in hospital for less serious injuries.
Witnesses to either accident are urged to contact North Yorkshire Police as soon as possible.
