Army base traffic to be monitored
Traffic around Catterick Garrison in North Yorkshire is to be monitored to see what road improvements are needed.

The county council and the Ministry of Defence have employed consultants who will set up census points to ask drivers about their journeys.

There will also be surveys in car parks of the base which is one of the UK's largest military establishments.

The council said local residents will be consulted about any planned new transport arrangements.
