| One of Yorkshire's biggest tourist attractions begins its 60th anniversary of VE Day celebrations on Saturday. The National Railway Museum in York is holding a month-long display entitled Railways in War and Peace. A museum spokesman said railways played a vital role during World War II and visitors will be able to see wartime engines such as the famous Green Arrow. War-time bands, re-enactments and demonstrations will also be on display until 8 May.
