'Royal tickets' on sale for race
Racegoers at Royal Ascot
High fashion will be a feature of Royal Ascot at York racecourse
Tickets for the royal enclosure at this year's Royal Ascot race meeting in York go on sale on Tuesday.

It means racing fans with invitations to the reserved area can claim their tickets for the famous festival.

The five-day event is being moved north in 2005 while the Berkshire course undergoes a redevelopment.

General admission tickets went on sale in October to meet high demand, though plans are being made to release 10,000 tickets for York residents.

The festival takes place between 14 and 18 June with capacity of the main stands and royal enclosure limited to 50,000 on each day.

Tickets for the grandstand are currently on sale for between 18 and 50.
