A hotel in North Yorkshire has been forced to close after 14 guests were affected by a sickness bug. It is the fourth time in ten years that quarantine measures have had to be brought in at the Grand Hotel in the seaside town of Scarborough.
Environmental health officers say the outbreak is now under control. The hotel is being steam cleaned and it is hoped it will reopen on Christmas Eve.
In October, 90 visitors and staff were affected by the Noro stomach virus.
And in May 2002, the Grand was closed after 150 guests and 30 staff fell ill and an outbreak of Norwalk hit the hotel in 1995.
