Big screen comes to the Dales
Community cinema
Residents will be able to view the latest blockbusters
A mobile cinema is set to bring the big screen experience to remote parts of the Yorkshire Dales.

The Ribblesdale Area Moving Picture Show will take blockbusters to Settle and surrounding villages.

The lack of public transport in the Craven area makes trips to the cinema impossible for those without their own vehicles.

But once the scheme is up and running, a range of films will be offered to cater for the widest possible audiences.

Organisers have applied for a county council grant to fund the project.

And they hope to establish a film society to run alongside the project.
