Man is rescued from flood water | | A man has been rescued at Welney Washes after being trapped in water for six hours. A search was launched on Sunday after fishermen reported hearing cries in an area of the Fens on the Norfolk and Cambridgeshire border. Great Yarmouth coastguard was alerted and Wattisham helicopter was scrambled. The man was found waist deep in flood water and airlifted to Queen Elizabeth hospital at King's Lynn suffering from hypothermia.
