Road shows are being held in Norfolk to advise people of emergency procedures in place to deal with exceptionally high tides predicted for next month. The Environment Agency said the high tides in September and October could lead to flooding along the coast.
The agency's road shows will advise people what flooding procedures are in place for their area.
People will also be able to register for flood warnings direct from the Environment Agency.
'Irreplaceable items'
The first event was being held on Wednesday at Heacham North Beach car park.
Another takes place on 5 August at Hunstanton Town Hall and on 8 August at Snettisham Harvey's car park, Beach Road.
Last year, a new Precautionary Evacuation Notice (PEN) procedure was introduced to give people living in and visiting the Snettisham, Heacham and Hunstanton areas more warning of a potential flood.
Peta Denham from the Environment Agency said: "Although flooding is dreadful, being prepared for it makes it easier to recover afterwards and means you don't lose irreplaceable items like family photos."
