Benedetta Ciaccia
Benedetta Ciaccia's fianc has been calling London hospitals
Books of condolence for the victims of Thursday's Tube and bus bombings in London will be opened across Norfolk.

The books will be located at county council libraries, information centres and at County Hall from Tuesday.

Council chairman John Baskerville also plans to write to the Mayor of Rome - the home city of Benedetta Ciaccia who has been missing since the blasts.

Miss Ciaccia, 30, lives in Norwich with her fiance Fiaz Bhatti, but commutes to London for work.

The books of condolence will be closed at the end of the month and sent to the Mayor of London Ken Livingstone.

Mr Baskerville will also write to Mr Livingstone and the heads of the emergency services, giving thanks for the way in which the explosions were dealt with by all the agencies.
