| A complete ban on smoking comes into force at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on Monday morning. The NHS Trust board decision in March followed a consultation where two thirds of respondents said they were in favour of stopping people from smoking. Under the new regulations, only those in severe distress will be allowed to have a cigarette. The survey also found that 71% of the smokers who responded said they could easily cope with a smoking ban.
