Old grandstand to be demolished
Yarmouth Stadium
The stadium is used for greyhound and motor racing
The grandstand at Yarmouth Stadium in Norfolk is due to be demolished to make way for a brand new one.

The project at the stadium on Yarmouth Road in Caister-on-Sea will cost nearly 3m and is expected to create up to 50 new jobs.

A stadium spokesman said greyhound, stock car and banger racing will continue while the work is carried out.

The structure, which was originally built in 1939, is being replaced with a 240 seater stand.

The grandstand is to be demolished on Wednesday.
