16 in court over Euro 2004 fracas
Sixteen people have appeared at Norwich Crown Court charged in connection with violence outside a Thetford pub following England's Euro 2004 defeat.

Trouble broke-out outside the Portuguese-run Red Lion pub on 24 June.

Three defendants; David Hill, 39, of Gloucester Way; Ricky Whittred, 24, of Ulfkell Road and Simon Robertshaw, 25, of Queen's Way, all Thetford, admitted violent disorder.

The remaining 13 defendants face a further hearing on 21 February.

The group of 16 were bailed on Monday and have been ordered to abide by a ban on entering parts of Thetford, in Norfolk.
