Asbo pig farmer case adjourned
Brian Hagan
Mr Hagan has denied breaching the order
A farmer who was given an Anti-Social Behaviour Order (Asbo) for failing to control his pigs had his case adjourned when he appeared in court on Monday.

Brian Hagan, of Briston, Norfolk, was made the subject of a temporary Asbo after complaints from his neighbours.

The case to decide whether he should become subject to a full Asbo will now be heard on 31 January at Cromer Magistrates' Court.

Mr Hagan is thought to be the first farmer to have an Asbo imposed on him.

He has denied breaching the order hours after it was imposed and appeared before magistrates in King's Lynn in a separate hearing to answer that allegation.

That case is next due to be heard at King's Lynn on 26 January.

Magistrates in Cromer agreed to adjourn Monday's review hearing until after the criminal hearing at King's Lynn.
