Rats attack phone lines and disrupt environmental health officers | Rats have eaten through communication cables at the environmental health department at a leading holiday resort. The rodents attacked telephone and e-mail cables at Great Yarmouth Borough Council offices in Norfolk, disabling their communication system. The lines are up and running once again but council officials are still having problems receiving e-mails. A spokesman jokingly said the rats were "getting their own back" on the environmental team culling rodents.
