The Sex Pistols formed in 1975 |
Two blue plaques are to be unveiled in north Norfolk to mark gigs played by legendary punk band the Sex Pistols. The band played the Pavilion, in the village of West Runton in 1976, at the start of their career.
In 1977 they played the Cromer Links Pavilion, which turned out to be the band's penultimate British performance. Both venues have since been demolished.
A single ceremony in honour of the band was being held at the Village Inn pub in West Runton on Saturday.
