Lotto winner fails to answer bail

Mr Carroll failed to answer bail at King's Lynn Police Station
A �9.7m jackpot lottery winner has been arrested for failing to answer bail on motoring charges, police said.

Michael Carroll, 21, of Downham Market, Norfolk, was arrested on Saturday after he failed to report to King's Lynn Police Station.

Mr Carroll is charged with driving while disqualified, driving with no insurance and two charges of failing to surrender to bail.

He is due before King's Lynn Magistrates' Court on Thursday.

Carroll collected his winning cheque in November 2002.
