Bailiffs were calling at 350 addresses
Bailiffs were calling at 350 addresses across the city
Teams of bailiffs joined forces with police in an operation targeted to catch dozens of fine defaulters in Norwich on Thursday.

They were chasing unpaid fines ranging from �45 to �2,500 at 350 homes across the city. The 2,500 outstanding fines add up to �470,000.

Some cars were seized and one BMW owner who owed a �40 parking fine had to pay �436 to have it freed from a clamp.

Some people were arrested for being in breach of court orders.
