New cheaper flights from Norwich
Norwich Airport has secured its first budget services in a deal which will see new flights to Dublin and Cardiff.

Air Wales will fly direct to the Irish capital three times a week from November with return fares starting at about 79 per person.

The service will operate between the two cities on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Norwich Airport officials have also announced Air Wales will fly to Cardiff once a week.

Hugh Lawson, from the airport, said it was great news for the people of Norfolk who have had to travel to Stansted to take advantage of budget airlines.

"Norwich is more convenient and there are the costs of getting to Stansted and back again," he said.

"if you add all the costs up, I think you will find Norwich compares with Stansted but has the added advantage of convenience."
