A major east of England media company has completed a 52m deal to buy up 12 weekly newspapers in London and Essex. On Thursday, Archant, which owns local newspapers across Norfolk, Suffolk, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire, announced it had bought the titles from Independent News and Media.
