HRT study in Norfolk
norfolk and norwich hospital
Women are being asked to take part in the HRT study
The UK's only study into hormone replacement therapy and its effect on the quality of life for women is being carried out in Norfolk.

Researchers at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital will compare the effects of two HRT drugs on menopausal patients.

It is being led by the hospital's consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist Mr Edward Morris.

Mr Morris said: "Our new Menopause Research Unit in Norwich is an exciting development for us.

"This new research study is looking at a very poorly studied area of the HRT and menopause field."

The hospital is looking for volunteers to take part in the study.

The research project is taking place in seven European countries over the next two years.
