Man's hand trapped in machinery
Firefighters rushed to a Merseyside industrial estate after a worker got his hand trapped in machinery.

Two crews were called to the accident at a unit on the Parr Industrial Estate in St Helens on Friday morning.

Paramedics stabilised the man at the site before firefighters used cutting equipment to free the man's hand from the conveyor belt.

A fire service spokeswoman said he had been taken to Whiston Hospital for treatment to a hand injury.
