The brother of Lightning Seeds star Ian Broudie has been found dead after apparently falling from the top of Liverpool's Anglican cathedral. Robert Broudie, 56, a solicitor from Aigburth, was found dead in the grounds of the cathedral in the early hours of Tuesday.
A spokeswoman for Merseyside Police said there were no suspicious circumstances.
An inquest into the death is expected to be opened later this week.

Mr Broudie qualified in 1972 and was a senior partner at RM Broudie & Co, based in Liverpool city centre. It is believed his body was found on the roof above the main entrance.
A spokesman for the Diocese of Liverpool said: "We are shocked and very sad at what has happened.
"At the moment we are not clear about the events that led up to this tragic incident and we are looking into the matter with some urgency.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with all concerned."
It is thought Mr Broudie had been suffering from depression.
His business partner, Paul Thompson, said: "He was the most able,
conscientious and committed lawyer I have ever known. "He had a national reputation for fighting fearlessly on behalf of all those
he represented. "He had the respect of all who worked for him."
