Cup ticket theft probe man bailed
FA Cup trophy
The club believes 1,000 tickets were stolen
A man arrested on suspicion of the theft of 1,000 FA Cup final tickets has been released on police bail.

The tickets were stolen from a Royal Mail van parked outside the Everton Football Club megastore last Friday.

Merseyside Police said the 36-year-old man from Anfield, Liverpool, was bailed pending further inquiries.

Liverpool Football Club (LFC) said fans, whose tickets were stolen, are now to get tickets initially held for a ballot of fan card holders.

Despite protests by club and fans, Cardiff's Millennium Stadium had refused to print duplicate tickets, leaving more than 1,000 supporters with the prospect of missing the match against West Ham, which takes place on Saturday.
