A new confidential helpline is being opened for victims of domestic violence in Cheshire. The Relationship Centre is run by volunteers in Halton, supported by Halton Borough Council.
The helpline number is being advertised on the side of taxis so people can see it as they travel through the area.
The service is open to anyone experiencing abusive or unhealthy relationships, including men, women, young people and children.
The new centre has been set up on behalf of the borough's Domestic Violence Forum.
