Firefighter wins leadership vote
Warren Bradley
Mr Bradley has been elected leader of the ruling Liberal Democrat group
Liverpool's new council leader is expected to be Warren Bradley after he was elected leader of the city's ruling Liberal Democrat group.

The former executive member for leisure replaces Mike Storey who resigned after being found guilty of misconduct by the Standards Board for England.

He was accused of conspiring against chief executive Sir David Henshaw.

Mr Bradley, a firefighter, is expected to be confirmed as council leader at a Lib Dem meeting on Wednesday.
