Two inmates have been found dead at HMP Liverpool in the space of three days. Staff at the prison in Walton found 42-year-old Patrick Bailey in his cell on Saturday.
It followed the death last week of remand prisoner Daniel Rowland, 31, who was due in court the following day accused of robbery.

A Home Office spokeswoman told BBC News: "Every death in custody is a tragedy and our thoughts are with the family and friends of Mr Bailey."
