Man remanded over firework blasts

A man accused of a series of firework attacks on cars across Liverpool has been remanded in custody.

Richard Caswell, 22, of Newman Street, Anfield, is accused of conspiracy to destroy or damage property with the intention to endanger life.

The charge relates to a series of explosions, including blowing up cars near a club and police station.

At Liverpool Magistrates Court he was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 8 September.
