Extra security measures have been put in place at Manchester airport after a burning car was driven at a terminal at Glasgow airport. Parking restrictions are also in place outside all of the terminals at Manchester, with vehicles directed to the car parks.
An airport spokeswoman said passengers were being advised to arrive at least 20 minutes earlier for flights.
