Mother's eulogy posted on website
Jessie James

Police hunting the killers of schoolboy Jessie James have posted his mother's eulogy on a video-sharing website.

Barbara Reid's tribute to her son, Jessie James, 15, given at his funeral, has been put on video-sharing website, YouTube, by Greater Manchester Police.

Jessie was shot near Broadfield Park in Raby Street in the Moss Side area of Manchester on 9 September.

Police said they hoped that the clip would "prick the conscience" of those who have information on the murder.

An appeal by Mrs Reid and her daughter, Rosemary, has received more than 15,500 hits on YouTube since it was posted by GMP last month.

The new addition shows clips of the funeral, before Mrs Reid's eulogy.

Barbara Reid says her son's killers have 'blood on their hands'

She said: "Jessie's blood is on the hands of the murderer, his accomplices, their families and their friends who knowingly uphold their actions and say nothing or do nothing.

"I will not rest until the perpetrators who have randomly massacred my son are eradicated from the streets of Manchester or wherever they have taken refuge."

It is one of a number of initiatives being used by police to catch Jessie's killers.

Earlier this month 20,000 leaflets were distributed to schoolchildren, urging them to stay safe and appealing for information on the murder.
