Pair hunted in shooting inquiry
Crime scene officers in Longlevens Road
Police were called after reports that shots had been heard
Detectives in Greater Manchester are hunting two men seen running away from the scene of a fatal shooting.

Police were called to Longlevens Road in Woodhouse Park, Wythenshawe, shortly after 2000 BST on Tuesday, following reports of gun fire.

Mark Daniels, 25, from the Woodhouse Park area, was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital with bullet wounds but died a short time later.

A murder inquiry is under way and police are appealing for witnesses.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said two men seen running away from the scene left the area in a car.

Det Supt Ian Foster, leading the investigation, said: "I'd like to reassure the local community that this was an isolated incident and we believe this was a targeted attack."
