Alison Davies and her son Ryan were last seen on Tuesday

Alison Davies, from Marple near Stockport, Greater Manchester, has disappeared with her son, Ryan.

Detectives say Ryan has a mental age of seven and is described as being "extremely vulnerable."

They were last seen on Tuesday at her mother's house in Marple. Ms Davies' sister pleaded with her not to harm herself on Saturday.

She also appealed to the public to look out for Ryan.

Police believe the pair may be in Humberside and that they travelled on public transport.

Ms Davies is described as white, 5ft 4in tall and of slim build. She has shoulder length brown hair and speaks with a southern accent.

She may be wearing dark coloured sports clothes.

Ryan is described as 5ft 2in tall and of heavy build, with short, blond hair. He may be wearing loose-fitting sports clothes.
