Khan says quake victims need help
Amir Khan
Khan wants to keep the plight of the survivors in the headlines
Boxer Amir Khan has said people affected by the Pakistan earthquake are still desperately in need of help.

The 19-year-old Olympic silver medallist travelled with Oxfam to Muzaffarabad to see the charity's Earthquake Response Programme.

Returning to his home in Bolton, Greater Manchester, he said he had been expecting to find life getting back to normal for the victims.

"It was upsetting seeing all the scenes there," he said.

"There were just little tents everywhere.

"In each tent there was about six people living in them. There was no food for them.

"I was there with Oxfam. They were providing the water, clean water and that.

"But that's not much, they need more help than that."

Khan is calling for more people to support the charity work done by Oxfam for victims of the South Asia Earthquake.
