Six-day strike at JJB warehouse
JJB Stores
Staff are unhappy about pay and conditions
Workers at JJB Sports' warehouse in Greater Manchester are to stage a six-day strike.

The GMB union said 250 members at the depot in Wigan would walk out on five days in December and one in January.

They will also ban overtime as a result of the dispute, which involves changes to working hours and pay.

The strike action could hurt JJB Sports' Christmas plans as the warehouse supplies all of its 430 shops across the UK.

Neil Holden, GMB Lancashire Region Organiser, said: "GMB members could not be clearer about their wishes in this dispute.

"They want a higher guaranteed basic wage and an agreed organisation of hours of work and they have left me in no doubt that they are determined to achieve this."
