Mr Hare called for help from the warden |
The family of an 80-year-old man who died after youths banged on the windows of his home say the group should be "named and shamed". John Hare, a grandfather of eight, died as he called for help from his home in Ramsbottom, Greater Manchester.
Police say they cannot link the youths to Mr Hare's death, as tests revealed he died from natural causes.
His daughter Margaret Hinchliffe, 58, said the stress caused by the youths' behaviour contributed to his death.
Mr Hare lived in a warden-controlled house in Lime Grove on the Peel Brow estate. He called for aid, and said "help", before collapsing.
Det Insp Simon Collier, of Greater Manchester Police, said several neighbours have come forward and given names of those believed to be around Mr Hare's home on the night of his death.

The force is considering whether it can take action of public order offences.
Mrs Hinchliffe said: "I'm not saying he wouldn't have had the heart attack at some point, he might had even had it that night.
"But I think the stress of them knocking on the windows like they did has contributed to it.
"I do think the law should be changed in situations like this so that they can be named and shamed.
"If I can stop it happening at all to anyone else, I will do my utmost."
