Police say Mr Corr-Davies may be a danger to the public

Brian Corr-Davies, 47, was reported missing from the Edenfield medium secure unit in Prestwich on Sunday.

Police say he is suffering from mental illness and are urging people not to approach him as it is thought he may pose a risk to the public.

He is 5ft 9ins of mixed race ethnic background, and slim. The upper part of his left ear is missing and he walks with a limp.

He has close cropped shaven black afro hair.

Mr Corr-Davies is thought to have been wearing a blue parka coat with fur on the hood, black trousers and black shoes.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is being urged to contact police or Crimestoppers anonymously.
