Doctors back no confidence vote
North Manchester General Hospital
The trust covers four Greater Manchester hospitals
More than 200 senior doctors at four Greater Manchester hospitals have supported a motion of no confidence in their NHS managers.

About 300 consultants and senior doctors from the Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust were balloted.

The trust covers North Manchester General Hospital in Crumpsall, Bury's Fairfield Hospital, Rochdale Infirmary and the Royal Oldham Hospital.

Staff say they are not being consulted on major decisions.

The trust said it was disappointed the vote went ahead.
